Re: Nova racing reverse gearbox

John Thanks for the info. I think you are correct with the chain causing the lumpiness. As soon as I get it inspected and register I will be putting many miles on it. I got a phone call from a Wisconsin State trooper about scheduling an inspection. He was doing a little research on TriKing and said ...

Re: Nova racing reverse gearbox

Hello Richard and Pat, I did check the u-joints to make sure they are not rubbing. I have isolated it to the reverse box as you can hear and feel it coming from there. I sent an email to Allan and he mentioned that there is a noticeable “lumpy” feel when the box is new and it gets smoother as it run...

Nova racing reverse gearbox

I finally got the Triking out for a test drive without the body work. So much fun!!!! I did notice that there is a noise coming from the reverse gear box, specifically the front half. If I place the reverse box in neutral and the Guzzi box in neutral and spin the from drive shaft by hand, I can feel...

Re: Rear bumper

I am registering it as a motorcycle but it looks like I have to register it as a Type 2 motorcycle which requires a rear bumper. We will see what the state trooper (who does the inspection) says. The Morgan 3 wheeler, and the Polaris slingshot do not have rear bumpers or wipers and somehow can be re...

Rear bumper

Hello Everyone. I just recently got my paperwork from the DMV here in Wisconsin, USA. One of the things required for the inspection is a rear bumper. I have never seen a Triking or a new Morgan 3Wheeler with a bumper. I know the Morgan is 50 state legal so I am a bit perplexed. I am getting t...

Re: New Triking Type 3 build behind the cheddar curtain

Not sure if anyone else has tried one of these Moto Gadget M-Units before. I purchased one for my T3 build after talking to a custom bike builder friend. This is truly a really cool piece of electronic equipment to geek out over. Not cheap but has some really nice features that makes all the wiring ...

Re: kit arrived

Its a great feeling to have it all arrive safely to its new home. Looking forward to seeing a few pics of the progress now and then. I am currently working on electrical right now and bought a Moto Gadget M-unit to handle all the relay and fuse control lights , blinkers, starter, horn, ignition powe...

Re: New Triking Type 3 build behind the cheddar curtain

Yes, Johann has been great at answering questions and so has Alan. You don't get this kind of service at a Toyota dealer. My first exposure to a Triking was in 1998 after I purchased my Ducati Monster. I was in downtown Minneapolis at a red light and a three wheeled contraption pulled up next ...
