My requirements were to carry my good wifeโs requirements for a week away when required but be fully detachable. I fabricated a permanent bracket which fits under the floor. I did the same as Doverhay, having fabricated some from ally sheet. Mounted exhaust wrap on inside of pannier near exhaust but airflow minimises any heat soak.

I have a pair of Caterham type seats that I was planning to fit in a type 3. They fitted okay. If I can find the images and lower the resolution, I will load them on the forum.

Many thanks Tony for organising this get together. It was great to meet up with old friends and to meet Guy and Jan on their first trip in their freshly built Triking. Clarissa certainly looks like a very professional build and practical as well.

Lorraine and myself would like to thank you all for your time and hard work in organising what turned out to be a fantastic meet. Weather, Hotel and drive outs all worked well and it was fantastic to finally be able to get together with friends.

I was allocated an age related number plate( 1981) to engine, gearbox, bevel box etc. But registration on v5 is 2014. I needed an mot after 12 months.
