Registering a Triking in France.

How old does a Triking need to be to be able to register in France please? Gary Shearing is asking. I thought it was forty years but he tells me a Lomax needs to be over thirty years.

Re: Battery

Shouldn't be, I have used a 33Ah Glass mat type for 15 years with no problems. Biggest concern is the type of battery post the battery has: Round post or flat post sticking up or bolt into the top of the battery. I prefer the latter as there is less likely hood of a short out. Don't ask me please, i...

Tom Kenny potential owner in Scotland

Hello I'm Tom Kenny,
I was wondering if there were any Triking owners in the Edinburgh/Scottish Borders area who could let me have a seat in their car so I can assess the driving position?

Re: Timing Moto Guzzi 850 T in Type 1

From Facebook club page: John Ferguson The easiest way is to remove the alternator cover and fit a timing disc using the alternator bolt. You might need a longer M8 bolt, because the cap head sits inside the sliprings. Probably need a washer to stop the disc deforming. Use a long bit of soft wire fi...

Re: Timing Moto Guzzi 850 T in Type 1

From the Facebook Page for Triking Owners Club: Derrick-Alexys Jack Can you tape a fiber optic line to the timing light and get the light down there with it? I have a flashlight with a fiber optic from a TV cable that I use to get light down into deep small holes for inspection at work. Anyway I thi...

Switch gear and MSVA

Afternoon Members,
Almost ready for the MSVA test. Looking through the inspection manual it states that the horn, indicator and dip switch ' must be capable of being operated with both hands on the steering control'.
Does this regulation not apply with the Trike having a steering wheel ?
