Re: COMFORT Front Suspension T2/T3.

I have the longer swinging arm.
400mm is 20mm shorter than when the uj even has a whisper of binding.
With the modified front, it now sits level and rides superbly.

Re: Wheel balancing

Having had a spoke replaced by the experts does ring an alarm bell. Is the rim running true? You can check that by jacking up, offering a fixed point near the rim and spinning the wheel. Better still, remove the tyre to check axial and radial truth. Sounds like it does need truing properly, not just...

Re: Where the Pavement Ends

Top stuff Eric.
Empty roads, sunshine, good soundtrack. Any excuse!
Is that a GoPro7?
What mounting are you using?
Nice double soundtrack editing, what software are you using? I’m on VideoPad by NCH.

We’ve just had several days of rain so stopped play for a while.

Re: Triking Pilots Challenge June

Well spotted Eric. The ‘High Lode’ water coarse (also known as Bury Brook) still runs under Great Whyte in Ramsey. It’s quite a straight route, ‘sailing’ a boat along there would have been fine with a tail wind. Going tother way may have been a problem. The main product being conveyed in that era wa...

Re: Triking Pilots Challenge June

Bit of a mystery how this pub begot it’s name, as it is in Ramsey, Hunts (not IofM).
About 35mls from ‘The Wash’.
However, the most inland tidal point of the River Nene at The Dog in a Doublet (yes that pub again) sluice, is only 10mls away.

Re: COMFORT Front Suspension T2/T3.

This week, I have replaced my original Fornales rear shockers from the donor bike with a pair of Hagon Nitro. Fantastic. The front suspension modifications were superb, this is the icing on the cake. The ride is now far superior to my old BMW tin-top. Anyone considering building would do well to inc...
