I have been thinking about the same thing. There are some reports that my donor engine (Stelvio NTX) run cool and some owners blank off the oil cooler anyway. My plan was to remove the oil cooler for the MSVA test by fitting a bypass hose and then refitting it along with a thermostat after the MSVA....
