Thank you again for the photos. Did you run the original carburetor setup prior to the Weber? If so how would you describe the performance of the original 30mm carbs.
Thanks again

Re: CV carburetors?
Thank you, I have some jets ordered and will try to see if I can make these work. If not then the Weber looks like an option. There is a company here in U.S. that offers a Mikuni set jetted and ready for the Guzzi. I have been told the CV carbs are good when properly set up. I’m afraid my manifolds ...

CV carburetors?
The sorting continues, the original builder of my Type 1 used a set of CV carburetors from a early 80s Yamaha 650 Midnight Special. Those carburetors were factory set, non adjustable needle, capped off air screws, etc. I have removed the air screw caps now I am trying to get the jetting as correct a...

Lowering exhaust for panniers TYPE 1

Dave, thank you for the reply, do you remember which model you used? I am looking at the FEP304SV rated at 1-2 PSI.

Type 1 Fuel Pump Question
Type 1 fuel pump question, I have a 850t powered Type 1 with CV carbs from a Yamaha 650 Midnight Special. My new fuel pump just went down and left me stranded for a bit on the mountain. That pump was rated at 2-3.5 PSI at 30GPH. The pump worked ok but I did seem to flood a little at low rpm, start o...

Front wheel bearings
I need to replace the front wheel bearings in my type 1. Can anyone provide the numbers for replacement bearings? I am in U.S. and hope to be able to source some locally if possible.
Thanks , Jim
