Evening all. This weekend I'm fettling the body to get it to fit, and I've come up against a... lumpy bit. Hopefully the picture shows this, but on each side - roughly where your bottom sits - the 'lip' that wraps under the chassis has a step in it that's stopping me fitting the bodyshell snugly. I'...

Thanks Tony, that's a good idea - I'm with both of you, it definitely needs knee support! Sounds like bits of wood being screwed into things is all acceptable though, which was my first approach, so I will continue in that direction! Thanks both

Morning all What's the 'normal' way to fit the seats? I'd like to raise the front of mine under my knees, and it's currently resting on a 3"x2" wooden batten - I could screw the wood to the seat base, and then put a couple of screws throught the bottom of the car, but that felt a bit hokey... I like those! I've got a set of 7" and I think they look fine - personally I think they look the right size, as I always thought the 6" were a bit small. I'm aiming to put inidicator / sidelights on the wheel archess, which I'm beginning to regret, but this would be a tidy solution assuming it meets...
