Re: CARC bearings
Fine. I used HSS tool to face and part off, with no problems. Drilling the bolt hole very slowly with plenty of cutting fluid.
I’ll harden and temper as advised.

Re: CARC bearings
Hi Richard
I have made a spacer as the other was worn and pitted. Made from 18mm dia tool steel. As the spacer only rotates back and forth I assume tool steel will be hard enough or do you think I should harden it ?

Re: CARC bearings
Hi Richard
When you say the "steel spacer" is that the steel tube that the bolt goes through ? If so no, its hardened and ground. I've yet to extract the bearings hopefully tomorrow so will update progress.
Are you on FB I'll post photos there the file is too large here.

Re: CARC bearings
Hi Richard
Should be straightforward so long as not seized as I found, probably no grease on assembly.
I've a couple of photos I can send if useful.

Suspension tuning
I have been looking for information on understeer and oversteer tuning. I’ve listed some changes that can be tried. Hope it’s useful.
