Thanks I thought that might be the case so was checking before disturbing the set up. The videos on the internet mainly for cars seemed to show it was a hit and miss way to set up loosening and tightening the bolt but also showed a backstop on the caliper lever to aim for which the grimeca does not ...

New Trigger Handbrake

Just installing a new handbrake and cabling, having trouble adjusting at the caliper end. The old handbrake seemed to have a very long ratchet travel but grips at the last 3 clicks. Should have said post was 4 years ago in my previous post. I went down the route of short leather bonnet straps but they are more cosmetic than functional as to get them tight enough to stop the cover lifting it is impossible to then get enough free strap to release them. I have however fitted thumb...

There was a forum post from Guy Greaves 4 months ago "rear wheel cover quick release catches" which has useful information on Car Quick Release Push Button Clip. I am not sure how to post a link but a quick search should throw up the entry
