Re: New member in West Sussex

I'm on the Berks/Hants border if that's any use? Not a runner yet, very much under construction but would certainly give you an idea about fit!
If of any use send me a PM.

Re: Glovebox hinge and catch

Thanks Richard, it seems I was making my search harder than it needed to by looking for a brass hinge. I just couldn't bring myself to spend £40 on a hinge! All sorted now with a stainless steel one.

Re: Glovebox hinge and catch

Thanks Oleg, I completely missed that on the CBS site. It's not quite what I had in mind, but I realised the key word to search on was 'latch' - hey presto, found something suitable on eBay.

Glovebox hinge and catch

Hi All, I'm currently finishing my dashboard and so far I've drawn a blank with a suitable catch for the glove box cover that fits the hole in the dash as supplied by Triking. Can anyone point me to a compatible catch? It would be handy too if anyone knows of a suitable brass hinge... Thanks for any...

Re: Air pressure sensor

Thanks to all for sharing your solutions, I shall be plumbing the sensor into one of the air filters.

Air pressure sensor

Hi, I'm in the process of placing all the sensors for the fuel injection system on my build and I'm not sure what to do with the air pressure sensor. On a Guzzi, this is plumbed into the induction side of the air filter box, however Trikings don't keep the air box. Do I just leave it open to atmosph...

Re: Stuck Engine Mounting Bolt

Hi Ian, Thanks for sharing your experience, I've come to the same conclusion as you did. Unfortunately my bolt doesn't have a head on it now - a combination of a rattle gun and my son getting a bit too physical with a breaker bar! I guess I'll need to weld a suitable nut onto the shaft. I'm contempl...

Re: Type 3 smooth tail - rear lights

Hi All, I thought there might be some interest on what I've ended up with for my rear lights and what I've learnt along the way. Firstly a couple of pictures: PXL_20220808_101114319.jpg PXL_20220808_101141491.jpg I found that the LEDs run very cool so don't seem to need a heat sink. As originally pl...
