Left foot rest and remote brake reservoirs
I have been finding long runs in my Triking difficult due to getting cramp in my left leg. I am at the limit for legroom in a T3, and have nowhere to rest my left foot when I am not using the clutch. The narrow footwell precludes a conventional "dead pedal" to the left of the clutch, so I put my min...

Re: Insurance
It's a mystery isn't it? I'm now with Footman James. I found the online system very easy and the follow up phone call friendly and professional.

Re: Insurance
Thanks, I've managed to find a provider who nearly matches last years rate, plus has a much lower excess.

Insurance
I have insured my Triking with Adrian Flux since purchase; last year the premium went up about 40% which was bad enough, but this year it has increased again by a further one hundred pounds, more than double in two years. Have other owners had similar experiences? Can anyone suggest other insurers I...

Re: Stuttering and running on one cilinder
Symptoms sound more like a blocked jet in the carburettor to me.
I would strip and clean the carb on the offending side.
Do you have a fuel filter?
Cheers

Re: Founders Day 2023
As a first-timer at this rally, are there any special arrangements, or does one just turn up at the gate and request to be directed to the Triking stand?
Thanks, Mike
Thanks, Mike

Re: Brake bleeding spring maintenance
Aha, I thought it was just me! Had a scary moment last year after not using the Triking for a month, when the brake pedal went to the floor. Bleeding the brakes fixed it (albeit temporarily), but I still do not understand how the air is entering the system. Interesting that @Trik4ever fixed it by ch...

Re: Type 3 smooth tail - rear lights
With the type three, one option for the MSA would be to borrow an integrated light style rear end for the test, then swop on your smooth one afterwards. No different to taking the test sans windshield, etc.
