Re: Tension spring on parking brake rear caliper

Thank you very much for your reply the contents of which have been noted. I am glad that the external parking brake I installed has worked with no problem with the existing spring. So I do not need any modifications

Tension spring on parking brake rear caliper

Hope everyone is looking forward to the Triking season. I am presently working on a modification to my parking brake and would like to ask whether it is possible to reduce the tension of the parking brake spring and / or suggest an alternative. Thank you in advance

Re: Black road dust

I have noted the above contributions but frankly I do not know what I can do since brake unit on my car is new unless I can adjust handbrake cable. It is worth mentioning that I can move the car easily when engine is off and pushing it in and out of garage

Black road dust

I have fitted a mudguard over the rear wheel but slightly short at the rear. One thing that really bugs me is that the rear on the inside is completely covered in black dust and as soon as you touch anything your hands become black. This used to penetrate even behind the seats but now I tried to blo...

Modified clutch pedal

I wish to take this opportunity to thank Wetendguzzi for his contribution and the details how to modify the clutch pedal. This has made driving my Triking much easier and I now have better control especially when releasing clutch on first gear. Such a simple modification but yet so effective. Thanks...

Re: Vehicle stalling

I have today replaced my Cam position sensor and the trike ran fine. I found that the faulty part seemed slightly swolen. Mick Stephens has made this remark in a previous post. I have today only done about 30kms as trial, but before the trike was stalling even after 500metres. May I thank everyone f...

Re: Vehicle stalling

I have been through the majority of the suggestions but up to date no success. As regards air in tank I have a new cap as supplied by Triking and new tank. I made sure that tank was very clean before installation. When the trike stalls it starts immediately I try again. Today I took out injectors an...

Vehicle stalling

I was very happy that now the trike is registered and on the road after a long process with the local transport authorities. However as soon as I started using the trike and maybe after some 200kms I am encountering a problem which is leaving me stranded almost every time. I am running a California ...
