Re: Insurance

Even more interesting...

FJ declined to insure my Triking a few years back as they 'don't insure bike engined cars'!

Re: Insurance

I've been with Flux for years, my premium hasn't changed at all in the last two years! I don't get how the insurance companies seem to just pluck figures from the air. Other than 'cos buying their product is compulsory.

Who did you go with this year, Mike, in case they do it to me this time round?

Re: Dellorto Carb help please

There's no choke on those, but starting mixture is enriched by tickling the carb, oldschool style. Off a Ducati 900, I think, my friend's MHR had a pair. How modified is your LM engine? Re: Gearbox oil filler point?

That's the gearbox filler, yes, but that's not a rubber plug. It's a cover/bung for the gearbox filler plug and fits into the hex recess of the plug to prevent it filling with muck and stopping the Allenkey from engaging properly. The rear drive bevel box should have one too, iirc. Flip it out and y...

Re: Oils etc

I have always used only Mobil 1 20W/50 or 10W/60 in Guzzi engines. I've been using it for so long I can't remember why, but with the sump off I can see that my Guzzi engines are the cleanest I've ever worked on inside. I think frequent changes are more important than oil types, new filter every thir...

Re: New Caps order January 2024

Hi Richard. can you add my name to the list please?

I'll take two blue/taupe peaked caps, and one blue flappy one, I can pick 'em up from Colmworth or somewhere.

Re: Triking Trifles

Hi Richard.

Could you send me a copy of Trifles, please? My eMail's not changed, I think I may have dropped off the mailing list.

Thank you;
Stuart
