Re: Any Triking in Sweden?

Berglind, Don't know about Triking population in Sweden but there is a Pembleton in Gotland. According to Google Maps some 5.5hrs from you at 280km. If you go to "pembletons are go" on their forum ,you'll need to join, there is an ability to ask questions and contact members. Pembleton are a home bu...

Re: 2020 Annual Meetup

Sig 4643,
When driving with the Treffen group at their rally's we use the "drop of Marker" at all changes of direction.
It works well and also prevents significant gaps developing that cause rear markers having to drive fast to catch up.
I may be teaching you how to sook eggs

Re: Information 1000cc Triking with Ford gearbox etc

Richard, In order to change the filter you need to remove the sump and extension(if fitted for extra oil capacity), in my special I can drop the sump without moving the engine, not sure about the Triking. He will require 1 no oil filter and one/two sump gaskets as they should not be reused irrespect...

Re: Dreirad Treffen 2019

I have just got home after a few problems on route on my homeward journey. What went wrong was that there was a non existent showing from the Triking Family, the trikes that booked in were a Blackjack. a Lomax a Pembleton and a Crozier 3. There was no entry from the UK driving a Triking albeit the e...

Re: Triking Propshaft

With the prop shaft being so small it will be critical to get the best alignment as is practical. Universal joints are designed to allow rotation of a shaft where there is movement , such as in an axle moving, but with the short shaft there will be points of the rotation where the shaft binds as the...

Re: Type 3 build

Tamos, Not one for health and safety. Go outside and select an area away from anything flammable, then use neat petrol to wash your hands. Then wash your hands outside in the garden with a bucket of hot water and washing up liquid. Petrol is an amazing solvent for sealants and glues etc be careful B...

Re: Type 3 build

Tamos, Like your build. While you are in and around this area, think how you will store all the luggage that you will carry. Maximise the storage space, bearing in mind that you will have to acquire lots of stuff em bags. Also what tools you will need during running, a thought now will leave space f...

Re: Heater

Hi, Get a pair of "Ski Pants", the padded type with Bib and Brace top, close the draughts at the ankles and you'r good to go. Your top should be a good Motorcycle jacket, in the UK 'Aldi and Lidl' sell jackets that I have been using over the past 10 years and they are adequate in the Scottish weathe...
